Blogs
I maintain a number of blogs for a variety of different purposes–including for personal reflection, as “virtual, interactive handouts,” and as virtual “notebooks” in which to think through ideas and information.
A Plethora of Projects & Practical Pursuits – My “professional” web presence. Contains updated info. re: my bio, conference presentations, papers, etc.
Cherice’s Pieces - A personal blog on which I post a little bit of everything–personal reflections, photography, poetry, and pseudo-scholarly musings. I update this blog most often.
Dis-continuities – A blog I created as a “self-determined writing assignment” for TE 918, a doctoral course on disciplinary and epistemological issues in teaching and learning. Although there are only a few posts on it and I am no longer updating it, I like the resources to which they refer and am particularly pleased with the poem in the final post.
Teens ‘N Tech – I created this blog to support a technology workshop I developed for foreign language teachers, as well as to demonstrate the affordances and constraints of using different technologies to accomplish the same purpose (Teens ‘N Tech Blog, Teens ‘N Tech Protopage, Teens ‘N Tech Wiki). I don’t keep the blog or the Protopage updated, but I do continually update the wiki.
